About the role
The successful candidate will lead Biology within the Science department while delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
The role will involve:
Leading and developing the Biology curriculum
Teaching Biology across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Driving high standards of teaching learning and assessment
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Biology examinations
Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the Science department
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development
You will play a key role in shaping the direction of Biology within the school while ensuring students continue to achieve strong academic outcomes.

The ideal candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Biology
Ability to teach Biology across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Leadership experience or readiness to lead a subject area
A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching and leadership
