About the Role
As Office Manager you will oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the school office ensuring administrative systems support the best possible outcomes for pupils and staff. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and improving office systems workflows and day-to-day priorities
Coordinating administrative tasks across the office team and supporting colleagues where required
Acting as a key point of contact for parents visitors and external agencies
Supporting pupil-related administration attendance communication and record keeping
Maintaining accurate data and documents ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Supporting finance-related administration ordering and basic budget processes where required
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed consistently including visitor management
Supporting senior leaders with communications reports and the organisation of key events

Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Strong experience in school administration office management or a similar role
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Confidence leading and supporting a small team
Strong communication skills and a professional welcoming manner
Confidence using IT systems including spreadsheets and database-style systems
Understanding of confidentiality safeguarding and accurate record-keeping
A proactive calm and solution-focused approach
Experience with school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS/Arbor) and finance administration is desirable but not essential for a strong candidate.
