The Student with Commercial & Development team at Husky Midstream will assist in financial analysis business case development and economic modeling to support commercial initiatives. The role involves working closely with Commercial & Development Advisors to prepare presentations budgets forecasts and long-range plans.

What youll do

Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned to but they may include:

• Under direction of the Commercial & Development Advisors develop modify and maintain economic models for new and existing projects.

• Assist in the coordination and compilation of annual Business Plan Budget & Forecasts and Capital Plan.

• Oversee transportation and terminalling agreements to ensure monthly invoicing alignment.

• Maintain and update all required input fields within IPS (pipeline integrated management software system).

• Compile weekly & monthly financial and business reporting with variance identification and investigation as required.

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in Canadafull-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g. work visa).

• Available to begin work in September 2026.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills specifically Excel.

• Excellent interpersonal judgement and decision-making skills.

Education

• Must be enrolled in a Commerce Economics Engineering Finance or equivalent at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work termOR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.

• Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.

• New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
