Job Summary
As the Associate Partner Events Manager you will assist in the planning and execution of key events activations and partnerships for the organization. You will ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and event objectives are met.
About the role
- Assist in conceptualizing planning and executing events/activations from start to finish
- Work with internal teams and outside vendors to execute on events
- Track event timelines
- Review and filter incoming sponsorship and donation requests
- Maintain and track event budgets ensuring all contracting invoicing and payments are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Stay updated on industry best practices emerging trends and share resources with the team
- Assist with the tracking and documentation of partnership metrics
About you
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in event planning or sponsorship activation
- Strong attention to detail and level of organization
- Excellent listening communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to think creatively to introduce new ideas for events and activations
- Skilled problem-solver
- Ability to plan organize and establish priorities to achieve results
- Capable of working on several projects at once
- Ability to work within a budget and often within tight timelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Event Planning Hospitality Sponsorship Activation Communications or related field
