Job Description:
Leadership position with primary responsibility in the areas of career advising and professional development for medical students. Oversees all events activities related to career advising and professional development as well as the operational processes within the Office of Student Affairs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications/Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated understanding of the medical school curriculum and LCME requirements.
Experience with Electronic Residency Application Service system/software and UT Medical Education Portal preferred.
Experience handling highly confidential student information required.
Experience speaking/presenting to students faculty and administration as well as to outside constituents.
Previous event planning experience required.
Education/experience/licensing
Masters degree required in a related field (medical or education) required.
At least 5 years of recent experience in an academic office is required preferably in medical education.
Experience with Blackboard and distance learning tools and development of workshops.
Supervisory experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
