Overview

AtkinsRéalis in Abitibi-Témiscamingue is growing! Spread across several offices we provide consulting and plant engineering services primarily to clients in the region and the Far North. We offer expertise and a diverse range of services in various disciplines including building infrastructure transportation mining and environmental sectors. Our team is a driving force for dynamic economic development in the region.

Your Role

As a Civil Engineering Technician your responsibilities will vary by season:

Summer Season:

Perform site supervision;
Maintain the site journal;
Ensure project follow-up with the project manager and various stakeholders;
Verify installed quantities;
Review technical sheets and shop drawings.

Winter Season:

3D modeling of projects including piping roads and landscaping;
Prepare plans;
Perform quantity calculations.

About You

College diploma (DEC) in civil engineering;
Minimum of 3 years of experience;
Valid Class 5 drivers license;
ASP Construction card;
Strong organizational and planning skills;
Ability to work as part of a team;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel);
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software;
Willingness to travel to various sites in Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Northern Québec.

Site supervision is primarily in remote areas on fly-in fly-out rotations with duration determined by project needs. Transportation to the site will be provided by the company.
