Jeff DAmbrosio Auto Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Car Rental Manager to lead our car rental operations in Downingtown PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily rental activities ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the car rental department ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage rental fleet availability maintenance and scheduling to maximize utilization.
- Lead and train rental staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet company standards.
- Develop and implement rental policies procedures and promotional initiatives to increase revenue.
- Handle customer inquiries resolve issues and ensure a positive rental experience.
- Monitor financial performance prepare reports and manage budgeting for the rental department.
- Maintain compliance with all local state and federal regulations related to vehicle rentals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in car rental management or a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance fleet management and rental software systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the entire operation and direct the workforce as needed to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to quickly make decisions while under pressure.
- Supervise and direct team of 100 employees
- Setexample to employees in respect to how job should be performed and all safety rules are observed.
- Providetraining as necessary to establish acceptable practices and correct deficiencies.
- Counsel trainand/or disciplineemployees as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Dealership management experience
- Excellent Communicator with the Customer Site Operators and employees. Is aware of each Operators site status with an excellent awareness of potential problems.
- Excellent Organizational skills and leadership ability to develop safe efficient and autonomous employees.
- Competent in basic Microsoft office database entry and generating reports for the customer.
- Must be interested in training additional sales associates and work within a team environment
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
- Clean driving record
