Client Accounting Manager

Role Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing complex financial reporting and accounting engagements including review of financial statements tax filings and investment-related accounting activities. The position requires strong judgment technical accounting expertise and the ability to manage complex financial information in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and oversee the preparation and completion of financial statement engagements

• Analyze and review accounting records and financial statements for entities with complex ownership and investment structures

• Resolve complex accounting and financial reporting issues in accordance with applicable standards

• Review complex individual and business tax returns for accuracy and compliance

• Support external audit processes and tax compliance requirements

• Analyze financial statements investment reports and related documentation to identify discrepancies and investigate variances

• Review and reconcile capital account activity and investment balances

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards (US GAAP and IFRS)

• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities

• Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment

• Demonstrated professionalism integrity and ability to handle confidential information

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

• 7 years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience

• Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred

• CPA license preferred

• Bilingual skills preferred

• Willingness to work extended hours during peak reporting periods
