About the Role

As a Support Worker youll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored person-centred support. Whether its daily living assistance emotional guidance or community engagement your work will help create a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality individualised support to people with disabilities
Assist with personal care mobility and skill development
Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support
Support community participation and recreational activities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans
Advocate for customer rights and promote independence
Create safe trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs

What Youll Need Disability Home & Living

Experience in disability aged care or family/community services
A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
Valid Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication empathy and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work varied shifts including days sleep overs weekends & public holidays
