Job Overview
The primary function of the Enterprise Solutions Support Analyst is to work with project stakeholders to identify and prioritize system requirements and perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing. The Enterprise Solutions Support Analyst communicates with stakeholders regarding triage status test results and changes to requirements. The Enterprise Solutions Support Analyst will work with the Scrum methodology to ensure the sprints deliver value and meet the Definition of Done.
Roles and Responsibilities
The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; work may differ and other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate.
- QA & Testing: Write and execute detailed test cases and use cases. Identify specific test cases for development work to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Triage & Support: Provide customer support/service for the Digital Solutions center. Triage incoming tickets in Jira identifying bugs versus feature requests.
- Release Management: Coordinate software releases and draft release notes to keep stakeholders informed of system changes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Schedule and conduct meetings with product owners and subject matter experts to understand business processes. Proactively communicate business knowledge to the development team.
- Documentation: Create and maintain internal documentation. Documentation will focus on user stories business rules logic and system flows.
- Research & Data: Conduct research and analysis to verify information for the development team. Utilize basic SQL/Database knowledge to verify data integrity during the requirements and testing phases.
- Scrum Support: Support project management through daily scrum sprint planning requirements reviews and application demos.
- Backlog Management: Manage a regular cadence for story definition writing review and prioritization to maintain a well-defined backlog.
Qualifications
Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.
- Education: Associates degree and three (3) years of experience with business analysis or related technical experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Jira (or similar tools) and basic SQL/Database knowledge.
- Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to act as a supportive liaison between users and the technical team.
- Professional Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience: Experience with software developmentScrum/Agile methodologies and software QA testing.

Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.

Employees who perform the responsibilities of the above position have been identified as having the potential to telework. Telework is defined as completing ones duties and responsibilities at a site other than ones assigned duty order to be eligible for telework privileges an employee must have demonstrated consistent positive performance and have the support and approval of their direct addition these employees must have reliable high-speed internet and a designated workspace that allows them privacy while completing sensitive and confidential work. Employees who are non-exempt and are teleworking will work their required scheduled hours and gain approval from their supervisor if they work more than 8 hours a day or more than 40 hours in a workweek. Teleworking privileges can be amended changed or revoked based upon the performance of the employee as well as the needs of Loudoun County Public Schools.
