Job Description
As an Armed Security Officer - Mobile Patrolin Commerce City CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out post orders site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
- Monitor access control points verify identification and/or authorizations and document entries exits and deliveries in accordance with location requirements.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or local authorities as directed.
- Complete clear accurate reports on patrols incidents and security-related observations and communicate updates to supervision and/or site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3 years combined law enforcement/military/security experience or a college degree.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
