Position Scope

We are seeking a Maintenance Planning Administrator to Provide administration support for the Aurora maintenance team which includes planning and work order support employee time submittal oil sample data entry and support for the various needs of the management team.

Where Youll Be Working

Shift: 7x7 or 14x14 - 12h/day

Site: Aurora

Transportation: Provided to and From Site From Fort McMurray AB

This is a site based position in Fort McMurray; preference will be given to local candidates.

Responsibilities

What Youll Be Doing

  • Provide administration support for the planning and maintenance supervisor group.
  • Input parent /child components.
  • Open and close maintenance work work orders based on Planners direction and on the day to day needs of maintenance supervisors.
  • Complete component C/O sheets with the assistance of the maintenance supervisors.
  • Record and prepare oil samples for shipment.
  • Develop and maintain work order documentation to ensure records are accurate and up to date.
  • Compile and input equipment-related information.
  • Maintain records management for all planning-related documentation.
  • Help keep the maintenance App to date.
  • Join in daily maintenance meetings as required.
  • Track all site contract labor hired and reconcile at the end of each month for billing.
  • Produce required reports for review.
  • Maintain manpower and location list and enter on the Companys intranet.
  • Support Maintenance Superintendent administration needs.

Qualifications

What Makes You the One

  • Three years of experience relating to office administration.
  • Related experience in maintenance administration and/or equipment planning.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Related Office Administration Diploma/Certificate supplemented with specialized training in business administration.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate or advanced in Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Business letter writing skills and basic report preparation.
  • Equipment planning training is an asset.
  • Excellent English (spoken/written/grammar/punctuation); detail oriented; superb organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask under tight deadlines; set priorities; use independent judgment.
  • Able to work independently in the absence of supervision and demonstrate initiative.
  • Polished and professional with strong attention to detail and work efficiently.
  • Must maintain confidentiality; work in a team environment and have excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

  4. Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing:
    • Breath Alcohol Test
    • Urine Drug Test
    • Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment
    • Audiometric Testing
    • Vision Screening
