Accounting Administrator
Job Summary
On behalf of our client- TA Appliance & BBQs is looking for a highly motivated Accounting Administrator to join our Finance team located in Kitchener. This role will report directly to the VP of Finance.
Responsibilities Include:
Reconciliation of banks balance sheet accounts including month-end closing entries and reporting
Create and post journal entries as needed
Maintain General ledger accounts Government filings
Ad Hoc projects for senior management
Weekly & Monthly reporting for sales and management.
Support the various admin teams as needed.
Respond to both internal and external questions from Customers stakeholders managers & staff.
Required Skills and Experience:
2 years working in an accounting field ideally in a retail environment.
Diploma in an Accounting Program with a good grasp of Canadian GAAP.
Team player with excellent customer service interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent Excel skills and working knowledge of the rest of the MS Office suite.
Ability to multitask while still being accurate and timely.
A natural desire to understand and improve processes
