Job Description:

Hitachi Railis looking for an enthusiastic self-motivatedSignal Electrician who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.

The position is a FIFO position 2/2 and 8/6 Rosters in WA Northwest Pilbara region with some Perth based work in our factory.

Long term role immediate start

Key responsibilities:

As electrician you will be working to execute wayside and onboard electrical installations. You will work closely with the Signalling Electrical Supervisor to ensure all electrical work is undertaken to a high standard.

Responsible for undertaking the physical construction activities.
Responsible for executing construction activities by interpreting signalling documentation and drawings and functional construction documentation.
Support the Electrical Mechanical team and subcontractors to deliver to the project plan.
Undertake all Electrical works in accordance with the project delivery plan.
Comply with all Heath Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Trade qualification in signalling and/or electrical.
2 years in Railway signalling.
Demonstrated competency in implementing Health & Safety initiatives.
Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
Demonstrated experience working within a similar role.
Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.
