Job Summary

Were looking for a PR & Communications Manager to join our team and turn our mission into a movement. This isnt a business as usual rolewe need a visionary ready to make an immediate measurable impact from Day 1.

The Role

As our PR & Communications Manager you will be the architect of our external voice and the steward of our internal culture. Youll work closely with leadership to elevate the My Guardian brand ensuring our mission resonates with families healthcare partners and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key journalists influencers and industry bodies to secure high-impact coverage.

Content Strategy: Oversee the creation of compelling content across our blog social channels and newsletters.

Crisis Management: Act as the primary point of contact for sensitive issues ensuring our reputation remains untarnished.

Internal Comms: Keep our frontline heroes (our carers) and office staff informed inspired and aligned with our core values.

Campaign Management: Launch PR-led campaigns that drive brand awareness and support our growth objectives.

Who You Are

You are a proactive communicator who thrives on variety. You understand that in the care sector.

The Strategist: You dont just post to post. You have a plan you track the data and you pivot when necessary.

The Wordsmith: You can write a punchy press release a tender client profile and a professional corporate reportall before lunch.

The Connector: You enjoy networking and can represent My Guardian at industry events with poise and enthusiasm.

The Experienced Pro: You have 5 years of experience in PR or Corporate Communications (Experience in healthcare or aged care is a massive plus).
