The Compliance Specialist at JR286 is responsible for Support and provides guidance to suppliers regarding the compliance standards and local regulations.
What Youll Do:
- Support and provide guidance to suppliers regarding compliance standards and local regulations.
- Monitor and develop the control systems to assist suppliers regarding the remediation of the violations of legal rules and internal policies.
- Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements to suppliers.
- Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.
- Update both Nike standards and local regulations.
- Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes.
- Support suppliers in the remediation process provide guidance and follow up until the findings are completed.
- Provide training on legal and compliance issues to suppliers if there are any updates and on a regular basis.
- Lead and participate in a training program for both external and internal parties.
- Lead and participate in the learning community to share the best practice and improvement needed issues.
- Work closely with suppliers and ensure they comply with both Nike standards and local regulations.
- Ensure communication with suppliers clear and up to date.
- Support and update the team on a regular basis.
- Plan the audit and remediation schedule and work with teams to accomplish the annual target.
- Tracking all activities and providing reports and feedback to the manager on a regular basis.
- Support manager on projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
What to Bring:
- Bachelors degree in law Business Administration or relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Compliance Officer Compliance specialist or similar position.
- Understand and have basic knowledge of Labor management including health safety and environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Thai language.
- Knowledge and experience on industrial tools of FSLM Higg FEM ZDHC would be preferred
