Were looking for a Senior Distribution Engineer to help grow our Distribution capability in New South Wales. This role combines technical design expertise with client engagement and business development responsibilities offering the opportunity to shape our presence and drive project success across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver high-quality design work for NSW and interstate distribution projects
Build the presence of Egis in NSW and contribute to growing the local team
Engage with clients to identify and develop new business opportunities
Scope projects prepare fee proposals and manage delivery to scope budget and programme
Lead and deliver URD projects playing an integral role in project outcomes for NSW utilities such as Ausgrid Endeavour Energy and essential Energy
Proactively engage with potential clients and existing clients across the Egis Group to identify project sharing opportunities
Provide technical expertise guidance and mentoring to engineers and designers
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are achieved
Qualifications :
Were seeking a proactive client-focused engineer with strong technical skills and the ability to contribute to business growth. Critical to this role is proven experience working within the NSW market as a recognised technical lead.
You will bring:
A four-year Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent)
CPEng and NER registration (or ability to attain)
6 years industry experience ideally in electricity distribution design
Ability to attain RPEV and/or RPEQ
Demonstrated experience in overhead and underground distribution system design and URD projects for Ausgrid Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience preparing and presenting fee proposals
A proactive team-oriented approach with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
