DTU Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track researcher position within the field of experimental high pressure phase behavior.
The position involves conducting advanced measurements of high-pressure phase equilibria and thermophysical properties related to CO2 storage and other high-pressure processes supporting sustainable technologies. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development and improvement of experimental methods and measurement techniques in this field.
High-pressure phase behavior and thermophysical properties are essential for the reliable design and safe operation of CO₂ storage and other sustainable high-pressure geological CO₂ storage properties such as phase equilibria density and viscosity govern injection performance plume migration and long-term other sustainable applications including hydrogen storage and supercritical processing accurate high-pressure data are crucial to reduce uncertainty and ensure both technical performance and environmental integrity.
Responsibilities and qualifications
The researcher will be responsible for maintaining and operating the high-pressure experimental facilities in our laboratory and for conducting high-pressure phase behavior measurements across a range of research projects. The position also involves further development of high-pressure measurement techniques as well as active participation in project proposal preparation and project management.
