Instructors for Campus Sønderborg

The Department of Business and Sustainability in Sønderborg is looking for instructors to teach courses at the B. Sc. Economics and Business Administration and B. Sc. International Business Administration Language and Culture program from autumn 2026.

SDU Sønderborg needs instructors for the following subjects:

International Business Administration Language and Culture (bachelor)

1^st semester:

Statistics

Economics and Business Administration (bachelor):

3^rd semester:

Finance

Macroeconomics

Exercise classes are as described in the course description and are coordinated in collaboration with the lecturer. It is expected that employed instructors will participate in an initial meeting with the teacher before the start of the semester and any ongoing meetings during the semester as needed.

Your application must state which subject(s) you wish to be an instructor in. If you are interested in taking on the role of instructor in several subjects please also make a prioritized list.

It is an advantage but not a requirement that you have practical experience with activities where pedagogical and social skills have been in play.

As a new instructor you will be offered to attend an instructor course together with other new instructors (typically in August/September).

Pay as an instructor is based on a preparation factor of 2.5 hours per lesson for the first class and 1.75 hours per lesson for subsequent classes (in the same subject).

Employment is made in accordance with the rules in the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the National Association of Student Employees/Association of Danish Medical Students for student instructors at universities with associated minutes.
