We were awarded a Breakthrough designation by the FDA in December 2020 based upon our feasibility data that showed our therapys strong safety profile and a notable preservation of cognition and function in patients with mild-to-moderate Alzheimers. We completed enrollment in our pivotal study HOPE in June 2025 and expect to release topline data from the trial in summer 2026. About the Job
As an Office & Administrative Coordinator you are someone that thinks on your feet and is ready to get going quickly in our dynamic environment. You will work independently and collaboratively managing multiple tasks and priorities with competing priorities and deadlines. You are someone that can screen and prioritize communications from external and internal sources a consummate professional and you know when to ask for help and how to find it.
You are organized innovative knowledgeable and forward-thinking when it comes to ensuring smooth operations for the leaders you support. The position requires the capacity to work successfully in a team environment while staying connected to business priorities and maintaining a comprehensive awareness of the organization. You are proactive and work with a strong sense of urgency. You take ownership have bias for action are customer-service oriented and can meet tight deadlines. Flexibility is key and you can switch gears seamlessly.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Be the first face of Cognito enthusiastically greeting all contacts: vendors and personnel consistently offering a warm hospitable demeanor that is also in a manner that is positive authentic friendly and helpful.
- Performing a broad range of administrative support activities on a regular basis requiring efficiency initiative and judgment.
- Supporting Cognito Leaders outside of the CEO in related administrative tasks which may include effectively maintaining and coordinating calendars scheduling meetings arranging conference needs travel/expenses and handling various purchases including invoice arrangements.
- Supporting HR/Operations in coordinating company outings team meetings focus weeks and other community endeavors including travel lodging meals and event coordination as needed.
- Manage all incoming calls email and mail; providing information in response to requests exercising good judgment when filtering inquiries for clinical trials and more.
- Maintaining the office space for optimal working conditions and As such this is a hybrid role with 4 days on site per week progressing as business needs demand.
- Support the G&A Business Operations Manager in process improvement and ensuring consistency across company policies and employee resources.
- Assist with in-office inventory management & technology equipment needs.
- Prioritizing conflicting needs handling matters proactively and following through on projects to successful completion often with deadline pressures.
- Demonstrating confidentiality in the execution of all responsibilities.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of administrative level support required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- Extremely strong project and time management skills; exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Able to recognize and appropriately handle highly sensitive and confidential material and information.
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through with ability to stay on top of and anticipate competing and changing priorities.
- Proactive and independent decision-making show initiative problem solve and take ownership of all projects and assignments to achieve positive results.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills and can communicate with discretion diplomacy and tact.
- Strong sense of judgment high integrity and ability to keep key information confidential.
- Proficiency with MS Word Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with travel and expense tools.
- Effective utilization of AI to streamline and improve your workflow.
- A sense of humor and ability to roll with the punches while having fun and being a team Work hard play hard rest hard.
