We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Design and Capabilities Developer

Principal responsibilities

Gather and analyse business requirements to design and develop technical solutions with fast turnaround times.

Build test and deploy applications and tools that support Risk & Compliance 2LOD activities.

Standardise and automate common capabilities to deliver efficiency scalability and consistency.

Collaborate with IT financial engineering and operational risk teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and internal standards.

Maintain strong governance and documentation standards ensuring compliance with internal controls audit and risk policies.

Support the conversion of EUC solutions into enterprise-grade applications ensuring control resilience and efficiency.

Requirements

5 years experience in software/application development in a large corporate or regulated environment.

Proven expertise in rapid prototyping and tactical tool development; proficiency in Python is required.

Familiarity with regulatory and supervisory expectations for risk and compliance processes data quality and model governance.

Strong understanding of Risk & Compliance processes preferably within financial services.

Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.

Due to the urgent hiring need candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
