About the Role
As the Exams Officer you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of all school examinations including GCSEs A-Levels and internal assessments. You will liaise with students staff exam boards and parents to ensure compliance with all regulations and deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and administering internal and external exams including GCSEs A-Levels and mock assessments

  • Maintaining accurate records of entries timetables and results

  • Liaising with exam boards to ensure compliance with policies and regulations

  • Supporting students and staff throughout the exam process

  • Managing exam rooms invigilation schedules and staff assignments

  • Producing reports on exam results statistics and trends for senior leadership

  • Ensuring secure storage and handling of exam materials

  • Contributing to school policies and procedures for assessment and examinations

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience in exam administration data management or a related administrative role

  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Have strong IT skills including experience with MIS systems and spreadsheets

  • Be able to communicate effectively with staff students and external organisations

  • Be proactive reliable and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure

  • Understand the requirements of exam boards and relevant regulations

Experience within a school environment is preferred but candidates with relevant administrative experience are welcome to apply.
