Talent Acquisition Partner

Location: Cardiff (Hybrid) or Remote

Biotage is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our HR team and support recruitment across the this role you will manage recruitment for a variety of roles working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to attract great talent and deliver a positive professional candidate experience.

You will play a key role in shaping our recruitment approach across regions helping ensure we attract and retain the best talent for our growing business. The role is based in the UK and supports hiring across multiple regions with a large proportion of recruitment activity across EMEA. You will also work with HR colleagues to support recruitment in the US and APAC when required and occasionally assist our colleagues at Astrea Bioseparations (a bioprocessing business that is part of the Biotage group).

In addition to recruitment the role offers the opportunity to contribute to broader HR initiatives including onboarding and other HR projects during quieter recruitment periods.

As Talent Acquisition Partner you will:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from advertising roles through to offer stage and onboarding.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and coordinate the recruitment process.

• Source candidates through job boards LinkedIn referrals and other channels.

• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support future hiring needs.

• Ensure candidates have a positive and engaging experience throughout the recruitment process.

• Support recruitment activity for Astrea Bioseparations when required.

• Work with HR colleagues to maintain consistent recruitment processes and best practices.

• Assist with onboarding and other HR initiatives when recruitment activity allows.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (either in-house or agency).

• Is organised and able to manage multiple recruitment processes at the same time.

• Communicates well and enjoys building relationships with hiring managers and candidates.

• Is comfortable using recruitment systems and online sourcing tools.

• Has an interest in diversity and inclusive hiring practices.

Experience recruiting for technical or scientific roles within life sciences biotechnology pharmaceuticals or related sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.
