Job Summary
Private Family in Fairfax Station VA Seeking a Nanny
Position:Nanny (Live-Out)
Schedule:34 days per week approximately3032 hours per week. Ideal hours are9/10 AM 7 PM(through dinner bath and bedtime routine).
Salary:$30$35 per hour depending on experience
Start Date:ASAP
About the Family
A calm warm and welcoming private family located in Fairfax Station VA is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their 10-month-old son. Both parents work remotely and are home most of the day. They are looking for someone knowledgeable experienced and supportive.
Children:One child 10 months old
Pets:None
Household Staff:Weekly cleaning service (no deep cleaning required)
This is intended to be a long-term position with a family who values fairness flexibility and open communication.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive hands-on care for a 10-month-old
Support a consistent daily routine (two naps per day)
Plan engaging age-appropriate activities
Take baby to classes and outings
Prepare meals and bottles assist with feeding
Manage bath time and bedtime routine
Baby laundry
Light housekeeping related to the child (tidying play areas loading dishwasher wiping tables keeping baby areas organized)
Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate has strong infant experience and is confident in areas such as feeding sleep habits safety and developmental milestones.
They are seeking someonecalm flexible and easygoing not overly hyper or rigid. Both parents are relaxed and roll with the punches and they would appreciate a nanny who brings organization to the home in a supportive non-judgmental way.
Bilingual is a plus(French preferred but not required).
Requirements
Prior infant experience in a private household
Excellent references
Drivers license required (family will provide car and car seat)
