Job Summary
Part Time Nanny needed in Brooklyn NY
Position: Part-Time Nanny
Location: Brooklyn NY
Schedule: MondayFriday 1:00 PM6:00 PM (25 hours per week)
Compensation: $30-35 per hour
Benefits:
2 weeks paid time off (1 week nannys choice 1 week familys choice)
5 paid sick days
Paid major holidays
Start Date: Trialing the week of the 23rd immediate start thereafter
About the Family
Warm professional family in Brooklyn seeking a live-out nanny assistant to support their two young children: daughter (4 years old) and son (2 years old). Both children are bright smart and energetic and attend school full-time from 8:00 AM2:30 PM.
Parents both work full-time.
The family has a small older dog who keeps to himself.
The family values longevity and are hoping to find someone who will become a steady and positive presence in their home.
Primary Responsibilities
Childcare & Development

School pick-up (walking distance)

Engaging hands-on afternoon activities

Supporting early childhood education (letters numbers early literacy structured play)

Encouraging learning through play

Preparing healthy toddler-friendly dinners for the children

Maintaining routines until parents return home for bedtime
Household Support (Child-Related)

Cleaning up after the children

Dishes related to children

General tidying and organization
(No deep cleaning required. The family maintains a clean and organized home.) Grocery Shopping
