Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Salary: $30 per hour paid through payroll

End Date: End of August 2026 (with potential for occasional future date nights)

About the Family
A warm and welcoming family located in Upper Marlboro is seeking a loving and dependable nanny to care for their three-month-old son from April through the end of August 2026. This is a temporary position until the infant begins daycare in the fall.

The family is originally from South Louisiana and values warmth laughter and strong family connections. The mother works in corporate America and works from home in a private office while the father is a distinguished officer in the United States Navy. They also have two daughters ages four and three who attend daycare Monday through Friday.

The household is loving structured and organized. The parents are committed to providing their children with a strong educational and emotional foundation and value caregivers who contribute to a calm nurturing environment.

Children
Infant son 3 months old (primary focus of the role)
Two daughters ages 4 and 3 (typically at daycare; may occasionally be home for 12 days during the position)

Pets
Two miniature Labrador retrievers that are hypoallergenic

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and nurturing care for the familys infant son throughout the workday
Bottle feeding and following the infants feeding and nap schedule
Diapering and general infant care
Engaging the baby in age-appropriate developmental activities
Taking the baby for stroller walks around the neighborhood
Washing bottles and keeping the kitchen area tidy as it relates to the babys care
Maintaining organization of baby items and play areas

The mother works from home and will occasionally step out of her office to spend a few moments with the baby. The family is looking for a nanny who is comfortable with this arrangement and supportive of maintaining the babys routine while allowing the parent to briefly check in and give hugs.

Driving is not required for this role. However having the ability to drive could be helpful for occasional pickups of the older children if needed.

Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate is warm nurturing and dependable with strong infant care experience. The family is looking for someone who is naturally attentive organized and confident caring for a young baby.

They value a caregiver who has a calm and loving demeanor communicates well with parents and takes pride in maintaining a tidy and peaceful environment. The nanny should be comfortable working in a home where a parent is present during the day and be able to work collaboratively with the family.

Requirements

Prior experience caring for infants in a private home or similar setting
Excellent professional references
Legally authorized to work in the United States
CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification
Comfortable with dogs in the home
Valid drivers license preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

$30 per hour paid through payroll
