Job Summary
Ventia invites applications from skilled and motivated telecommunications professionals for the position of Supervisor based in Tauranga.
About the Role
This role focuses on managing the endtoend delivery of client projects and programmes of work within the Bay of Plenty South Waikato and Coromandel regions. It includes handson field support full responsibility for project planning resourcing scheduling financial performance and ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards. Youll ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and to budget.
What Youll Do
- Plan schedule and resource field work
- Provide handson technical and field support
- Liaise closely with the client in the Electrical industry and support pricing activities
- Oversee H&S quality and overall delivery performance
- Participate in an oncall roster (some travel overtime required)
- Model great leadership behaviours and support team culture
What Youll Bring
- Strong background in radio communications; telco transmission experience
- Power industry experience (advantageous)
- NZQA Level 5 Telecommunications qualification or similar
- Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder skills
- Experience in delivery planning risk management and cost control
- Knowledge of 2Degrees Powerco or Transpower networks (beneficial)
