Te kōwhiringa The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor Substations to join our Energy team based in Auckland supporting our Vector contract.

In this role you will be responsible for the effective supervision and coordination of field crews subcontractors plant and equipment ensuring substation construction and maintenance works are delivered safely on time and to quality standards while meeting contractual and commercial performance targets.

Youll play a key leadership role on site driving a strong safety culture supporting your teams development and maintaining excellent relationships with our client and other stakeholders. This role is predominantly Aucklandbased providing stability while working on critical electricity infrastructure that supports the region.

You will be a safetyfocused handson leader with strong technical expertise in substation environments. Comfortable working on live operational sites youll bring proven experience coordinating crews and delivering work programmes efficiently while meeting client safety and quality expectations.

• Handson experience in electricity substation construction and/or maintenance within a transmission or distribution environment

• National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Electrician) Level 4 or equivalent

• Demonstrated experience leading and supervising field teams and subcontractors

• Strong knowledge of regulatory safety and industry compliance requirements

• Sound planning coordination and problemsolving skills in a sitebased role

• Clear communicator with the physical capability to work in varying site conditions
