Our client in the Supply Chain and Distribution industry is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a critical role focused on driving financial efficiency managing high-volume inventory and providing strategic support to the executive team.
Salary and Benefits:
Main Responsibilities:
- Direct oversight of the Cash Conversion Cycle ensuring the optimal balance between inventory levels accounts receivable and payables.
- Act as a financial advisor to Sales and Procurement teams to ensure all deals and supplier contracts meet required margin thresholds.
- Develop and maintain accurate Landed Cost models that factor in freight duties insurance and warehouse handling to ensure true product profitability.
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts including P&L Balance Sheet and detailed Cash Flow forecasting.
- Lead regular stock audits and valuation processes to mitigate risk and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Manage the ERP system to ensure data integrity and automate manual reporting processes for real-time decision-making.
- Ensure the business remains fully compliant with all local tax regulations statutory filings and audit requirements.

- Proficiency in using BI tools (like PowerBI or Tableau) to visualize complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills with the backbone to challenge commercial decisions when they threaten profitability.

Qualifications:
- Must be a qualified CPA ACCA CIMA or CA.
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 8 years of experience in a senior finance role specifically within the Wholesale Distribution or Logistics sectors.
- Hands-on experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
