Job Summary

As an Application Support Engineer you will act as software detectives providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges ensuring the smooth operation of essential applications. You will engage in problem-solving activities analyze system performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems all while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality support to users and stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME.- Implement and manage SAM strategies to reduce compliance risks and optimize software lifecycle management.- Deploy and administer tools such as FNMP (FlexNet Manager Platform) SNOW SNOW License Manager Flexera ServiceNow SAM Pro- Experience in JIRA and Confluence including sending MOMs (Minutes of Meeting) after client calls.- Analyze software license compliance identify gaps and implement corrective actions.- Maintain and reconcile software purchase records using inventory and asset management tools.- Gather and understand project requirements; troubleshoot tool configuration and integration issues.- Support internal and external audits by major software publishers. Professional & Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of:- Software Licensing Management- Software Lifecycle Management- Asset Management- Compliance Risk MitigationHands-on experience with tools (good to have):- FNMP (FlexNet Manager Platform)- SNOW License Manager- Flexera- ServiceNow SAM Pro- BMC Remedy Asset Management Suite- IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) Additional Information: - Experience managing major software publishers: Microsoft Adobe IBM Oracle VMware- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Asset Life Cycle Management.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
