About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Product Management you will manage and develop a defined product portfolio driving growth through innovation and new product development. At ASSA ABLOY product leadership through innovation is a core strategic objectiveand youll play a critical role in setting the strategic direction for your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of market segments through lifecycle management pricing market share and profitability analysis.
- Generate actionable insights by anticipating changes in customer needs competitor behavior regulations and emerging technologies.
- Refine and adapt portfolio strategies to align with business objectives and organizational strengths.
- Conduct customer and end-user research to validate use cases for future products and technologies particularly in the smart home space.
- Deliver strategic planning assets such as Generation Plans and Product Roadmaps.
- Collaborate across multi-regional development teams to execute product roadmapsfrom concept and design through to market launch.
- Drive projects through the established Gateway Process ensuring seamless execution from insight to post-launch review.
About You
You thrive in fast-paced environments and can balance multiple priorities to deliver exceptional results. Youre a strong communicator adaptable and confident in managing diverse stakeholders. You enjoy problem-solving and take a hands-on approach to gathering insights and making informed decisions.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience in new product development.
- Excellent organizational skills and experience contributing to cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of turning market insights into compelling business cases.
- Experience in the retail hardware or locking industry is advantageous.
