This is a hands-on leadership role not a desk job.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and working within the senior leadership team youll take ownership of the Security Screen Division ensuring production runs efficiently safely and to a consistently high standard.
Youll be responsible for driving performance on the floor building team capability and identifying opportunities to improve systems processes and output.
This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the action solving problems in real time while also contributing at a strategic level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production planning scheduling and workflow management
- Drive a strong safety-first culture across the team
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality finished products
- Oversee end-to-end production operations within the Security division
- Monitor and drive output targets productivity and efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost efficiencies
- Lead coach and develop a team of production staff
- Oversee training onboarding and upskilling initiatives
- Coordinate materials suppliers and inventory requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales admin install) to ensure smooth delivery
- Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained and operating effectively

Youre an experienced Production Manager (or senior Supervisor ready to step up) who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Youre practical solutions-focused and comfortable leading from the front. You know how to get the best out of your team while maintaining strong standards around safety quality and efficiency.
Youll bring:
- Proven experience leading teams within a manufacturing environment (5 years minimum)
- Strong understanding of production processes (custom manufacturing highly regarded)
- The ability to quickly learn machinery and become a technical go-to
- Solid planning problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working with ERP systems and production reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines
