About The Role:
Source Office Furniture is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position ofReceptionist/Admin Assistant at our Edmonton AB location. This is a full-time permanent position. This position is the primary contact for all walk-in customers as well as incoming phone calls. The role includes administrative support in the form of assisting the sales team and managing the cash-out process. Other administrative duties include but are not limited to data entry filing and sorting mail and ensuring that the showroom appearance is up to the high standards we need to create a positive experience for customers.

Salary Range: $21 per hour

Main Responsibilities :
Reception
Greet customers determine the reason for their visit provide basic information and direct them to the appropriate individual
Answer multi-line telephone and provide information when requested; collect information to transfer calls to the appropriate party through the switchboard
Accurately complete customer sales using credit/debit machine for contribution to daily cash out
Administrative Support
Place and complete purchase/sales orders on behalf of the sales representatives in the proprietary computer system
Update literature and promotional material in the showroom
General administrative tasks including filing sorting mail and data entry
Ensure the showroom is well maintained at all times
Assist in updating and maintain clearance area(virtual and physical)
Inventory control and distribution of office supplies
What you bring to the role...
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (on the phone and in person)
Attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task
1-2 years of receptionist or administrative support role preferably in a busy retail environment
Must speak English fluently
Strong MS Office skills (Word Excel Outlook)
Exceptional organizational skills
Possess a strong understanding of business processes
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00am 5:30pm
