Job Summary
Overview
The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician performs car service repair preventive maintenance in-fleeting service and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.
This pay for this position starts at $31.70 / hour. In addition you can earn an additional $1 / hour for ASE certifications after the required minimum of 4 (up to 8 in total). Weekday hours from 3:00pm to close and all weekend shifts also qualify for an additional $2 / hr shift differential.
Employees also have the opportunity to earn annual merit increases based on performance. The current maximum rate of pay for this position is $44.40 / hour.
This position is located at our Service Center: 153 Rainbow Rd East Granby CT 06026.

Automotive Technician Benefits:
- $500 tool allowance paid upon hire
- $250 tool allowance annually
- Hourly Rate (Not Flat Rate)
- $1 / hour per ASE Certification (up to 8 in total)
- $1 / hour per Truck/Diesel ASE Certification (max of 4)
- $2 / hour shift differential for weekday hours 3:00pm-close and all weekend hours

- Monday: 3:00pm-11:30pm
- Tuesday: 3:00pm-11:30pm
- Wednesday:3:00pm-11:30pm
- Thursday: OFF
- Friday: OFF

Responsibilities
We are Hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
- Complete required manufacturers training and perform warranty and recall repairs.
- Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
- Utilize multiple manufacturers websites software and diagnostic tools.
- May process new fleet LOFR tires fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
- Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
- Update job knowledge by participating in company and manufacturer approved training or industry related training
- Follow proper procedures to comply with health safety and environmental standards.
- Requires ability to perform manual labor such as bending kneeling crouching lifting standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

Qualifications
- Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.
- 4 current and valid ASE certifications required
- Understanding of GM Ford Toyota and Chrysler warranty proceduresis a plus.
- Must have a current and valid drivers licensewith no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years.
- No drug or alcohol relatedconvictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
- A minimumof basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require workauthorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
