As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Elm Grove WI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location you will manage entries and exits verify credentials monitor cameras and alarm panels and document activity to support security-related operations. You will maintain a visible presence communicate clearly with drivers employees and visitors and respond to incidents as they arise. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors drivers and employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification processing sign-in and/or sign-out issuing visitor credentials and directing traffic flow for pedestrian and vehicle access.
• Screen inbound and outbound activity by checking deliveries trailer movements and shipping or receiving documentation as required by post orders helping to deter unauthorized access and/or loss.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of access activity incidents and unusual conditions and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
