Te kōwhiringa The Opportunity
You will work within our Gisborne team to deliver a range of infrastructure drainage & reticulation works. Ideally you will have an interest in the following type of capital works; construction of water wastewater and stormwater reticulation upgrades backflow prevention and testing to meet contract specification.
This is a hands-on role where youll be out in the trench delivering essential infrastructure that keeps communities running.
Your day-to-day will include:
Construction of wastewater stormwater and drainage assets
Installation of PVC PE and concrete pipes manholes catchpits and chambers
Working across wastewater and stormwater projects
Reading and interpreting plans drawings and specifications
Confined space work and live network tie-ins

Holds a recognised drain laying qualification Level 3 Drainlayer certification as a minimum and be registered with the PGDB-Plumber Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board
Is confident working hands-on - not just supervising
Communicates well and works effectively within a team
Has a strong safety and quality focus
Holds a Full Class 1 or 2 drivers licence
Can plan ahead think on their feet and respond to unexpected challenges
