You will work within our Gisborne team to deliver a range of infrastructure drainage & reticulation works. Ideally you will have an interest in the following type of capital works; construction of water wastewater and stormwater reticulation upgrades backflow prevention and testing to meet contract specification.
This is a hands-on role where youll be out in the trench delivering essential infrastructure that keeps communities running.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Construction of wastewater stormwater and drainage assets

• Installation of PVC PE and concrete pipes manholes catchpits and chambers

• Working across wastewater and stormwater projects

• Reading and interpreting plans drawings and specifications

• Confined space work and live network tie-ins

• Holds a recognised drain laying qualification Level 3 Drainlayer certification as a minimum and be registered with the PGDB-Plumber Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board

• Is confident working hands-on - not just supervising

• Communicates well and works effectively within a team

• Has a strong safety and quality focus

• Holds a Full Class 1 or 2 drivers licence

• Can plan ahead think on their feet and respond to unexpected challenges
