TheRevenue Assurance Analystis responsible forprotecting company revenue byanalyzingvalidating and improvingdata and operational processes that directlyimpactbilling this role you willidentifypoints of revenue leakagetampering of metering and equipmentinvestigate the root causes of metering and billing exceptions and detect patterns or anomalies that impactmeterintegrity. You will create actionable insights develop reports for leadership and support exception resolution through detailed data analysis role will be closely partnered with Field Operations AMOC and Billing teams to strengthen upstream position plays a key role in monitoring meter healthproving data integrity and driving initiatives that reduce revenue leakage and support sustainable financial performance.
Job Responsibilities
Gather analyze and interpret data for problem solving to minimize meter exceptions and provide sustainable results
Submit reports to the relevant department heads and management
Find patterns and trends in the analyzed data
Help management and other teams draw business goals and needs
Formulate procedural manuals for department
Must be adept to learning multiple data sources to provide insightful analysis and reporting.
Develop strong relationships across the operations
Providesupport to ensure data integrity of information into the MDMS system
Create job aids and other tools to further educate the organization on how the systems function end to end and what is needed tomaintainaccuracy and timeliness of bills
Develop reporting to allow for more real time understanding of the functioning of the meters
Minimum Requirements - Education
High School Diploma
Desired: Bachelors Degree
Minimum Requirements - Experience
Analyst I: 0-2years of relevant experience
Analyst II: 2-4 years of relevant experience
Analyst III: 4-6years of relevant experience
MinimumRequirements - Knowledge skills and abilities:
Ability to manage multiple projects andoperatein a rapidly changing work environment.
Knowledge of AMI and Smart Grid network management tools.
Specific knowledge of Meter Data Management Software (MDMS) preferred.
Knowledge of CCS preferred
Strong ability to apply broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance.
Excellent interpersonal skills; team player.
Ability to resolve issues byleveragingresources throughout the organization.
Excellent project management written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent Critical thinking problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiencyin ExcelDevelopingqueries Building Power BI dashboards.
Six Sigma certification a plus.
Ability to perform SQL queries is strongly preferred.
Ability to perform data analysis and visualization in Power BI is strongly preferred.
Ability to trouble-shoot and solve problems by analyzing data from multiple sources and timelines is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage and analyze data in Excel is strongly preferred.
Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)proficiencyis strongly preferred.
Database skills (for example in SQL) preferred.
IT experience in data extract transform and load (ETL) and/or DBA roles is preferred.
Data architecture skills preferred.
Experience with industry tools supporting enterprise data .
Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics tools is preferred.
