Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL) a Planned Systems International (PSI) company is hiring for a Requirements Management Co-Op in Richland WA.
This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland WA and operates manages and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering Inc. (Oak Ridge TN) and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg MD).
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
The Requirements Management Co-Op will support the Requirements Management team in ensuring project requirements are defined documented tracked and managed throughout the project lifecycle. This role offers exposure to a variety of engineering technical and regulatory projects within a highly regulated environment. The Co-Op will gain practical experience in requirements processes document control and compliance tracking.
- Assist in gathering documenting and organizing project requirements from stakeholders.
- Support the creation and maintenance of requirements documentation within database.
- Participate in requirements review meetings taking notes and updating records as needed.
- Work collaboratively with engineers project managers and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices for requirements management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- A U.S. citizen.
- At least 18 years of age.
- An active full-time student during the two semesters/quarters immediately preceding the assignment.
- Maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) during their college enrollment.
- Students at Washington State University Tri-Cities (WSU-TC) Columbia Basin College (CBC) or any online students living locally who are enrolled in a degree program that relates to Navarro-ATLs and Hanfords cleanup mission
Desired Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation
Grade Business Co-Op Soph: $21.00/hr
Grade Business Co-Op Jr: $24.60/hr
Grade Business Co-Op Sr: $28.00/hr
The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidates education training and/or relevant experience.
