Position Summary
The Benefits Coordinator is a key member of the Total Rewards Team supporting the administration of employee benefit programs across the organization. The Benefits Coordinator supports general HR and Benefits inquiries via an HR inbox and supports employee benefits troubleshooting helping ensure a compliant efficient and positive employee experience across a multi-state workforce. This role also acts as a back up support for employee leaves of absence. The Benefits Coordinator reports to the Sr. Director of Total Rewards.
The salary range for this position is $25.50 - $35.66/hr. Actual pay will be dependent on budget.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a frontline resource for employee benefits questions related to: Medical dental vision HSA/ FSA retirement wellness and voluntary benefits programs
- Troubleshoot enrollment issues and carrier discrepancies in partnership with vendors and internal teams
- Research requests and have an ongoing understanding for questions that pertain to benefit plans
- Support Open Enrollment and ongoing benefit communications and initiatives
- Serve as back up for employees leave requests questions including: FMLA State-specific paid and unpaid leave programs including Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave (FAMLI) California Paid Family Leave and company medical personal parental leave policies and STD and LTD coordination
- Support audits reporting and compliance documentation related to leaves benefits and eligibility
- Maintain accurate leave records in HRIS and tracking systems
- Ensure all benefit-related records are complete accurate and compliant
- Maintain confidential employee and benefits records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies and all applicable state and federal regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in benefits leave administration HR or related field

- Ability to prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to adapt to regulatory updates and evolving processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
Work Environment and Physical Demand
Ability to stand type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
No adverse or hazardous conditions
Not required but preferred to be able to occasionally lift push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
