We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Actuarial Analyst.
Principal responsibilities
- To support the manager in delivering one or more actuarial functions for the Groups insurance entities in Hong Kong Singapore and other countries.
- Provide central Prophet modelling and analytical services. Develop and maintain actuarial modelling workflow streamlining and automation capability to satisfy business demand from the insurance businesses across the Group.
- Provide modelling support to other teams which may require usage of and connection with non-Prophet technologies such as Python Alteryx and Excel/VBA etc.
- Maintain a robust control structure governance and documentation standards.
- Comply with regulatory and internal policy requirements impacting model development and maintenance.
- Implementation of required governance and controls to satisfy internal Model Risk Policy and SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act) requirements.
Requirements
- University graduate in a relevant discipline i.e. Actuarial Science Statistics Economics
- Good progress in actuarial exams
- Experience with Prophet VBA and Excel Programming is preferred
- Past actuarial experiences in life insurance and past experience in individual life actuarial modelling is a plus
- Strong communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
Due to the urgent hiring need candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
