Job Description
As a Security Officer - Lobby Desk in Glenshaw PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a school location you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will greet and assist staff students and visitors help manage access and visitor check-in answer calls and monitor cameras and alarms. Your clear communication professionalism and integrity help create a caring reliable presence that supports the team every day.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a front desk reception area.
- Greet screen and process visitors and contractors issue visitor credentials and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Answer phones monitor entry points and observe cameras and/or alarms as assigned reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Complete shift reports and other required documentation communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel and support staff and students as directed by site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
