Job Summary
The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Temporary Elementary Generalist Teacher atGrimshaw Public School. This position will commence on August 27 2026 and will conclude on June 2 2027.
Grimshaw Public School is an exciting and dynamic school located in the town of Grimshaw 20 kms west of Peace River. The school serves students from grades K-12. A strong academic program and a full range of athletic programs supported by the addition of a new community recreation multiplex center are offered to the Grimshaw Public School students. Qualifications:
- Training and/or successful teaching experience at the elementary level
- Ability to differentiate instruction.
- A demonstrated commitment to student achievement.
- Effective classroom management.
- Excellent communication skills with students staff and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Ability to coach team sport at a high school level.
Requirements:
- Must hold or be eligible for a validAlberta Teaching Certificate.
- Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check dated within six (6) months of application.
Asset:
- Ability to use technology to support learning in the classroom

This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers Association and the Peace River School Division.
Annual Salary Range: $ 66520 to $ 112451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers Association and the Peace River School Division).
