Job Summary

Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta serving the education needs of approximately 17750 students in 43 schools. Next Step isseeking teachers who are currently teaching or have taught diploma-level courses to lead the review diploma sessions. Experience doing diploma review sessions marking diplomas or working on committees is an asset.

May 30-31: English Language Arts 30-1 Social Studies 30-1 Math 30-1 & Math 30-2
June 6-7: English Language Arts 30-1 Social Studies 30-1 Math 30-1 & Math 30-2 (repeat sessions)
June 13-14: Biology 30 & Chemistry 30
June 20-21: Physics 30
June 20: Science 30

Teachers must have experience teaching and be currently teaching the subject they are applying for. Pay is as per the collective agreement at $63 per hour. Paid Hourly for 28 total hours: 14 hours for Instruction/supervision 13 hours prepping materials and 1 hour pre-meeting. Courses run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a half-hour break for will be offered at Salisbury Composite High School (20 Festival Way) in Sherwood Park Alberta.
