• Food Service experience an asset
• Food Safety Course.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Proven experience in taking personal responsibility for seeking information from various sources enables others learning through sharing experiences coaching and mentoring.
• Works independently as well as collaboratively within the team
• Able to work weekends up to full-time hours.
• Excellent attendance required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Do production numbers for portioning
• Portioning of mcd/puree meats and vegetables
• All special labels/portioning like vegetarian/low potassium/gluten free/allergies/plain

• Serves food to residents according to individual diets and preferences. Observes time limits for meal food at proper serving temperature/ Help Cook.
• Is understanding of all therapeutic diets.
• Clears plates and trays loads and operates dishwasher. Cleans pots pans and cooking utensils as per procedure.
• Participates in proper storage and labeling of dietary supplies and food including leftovers.
• Adheres to established departmental policies procedures regarding quality assurance fire safety environment and infection control.
• Participates in facility meetings as assigned. Attends in-service education programs including all mandatory and on-line in-services.

Other duties as assigned by Manager.
