Job Summary
What you will do:
Our Cooks are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. The Cook is responsible for the preparation of high-quality food in a timely efficient sanitary and consistent manner. If you thrive in an energetic fast-paced and social atmosphere this may be the opportunity for you!
In this role your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Daily preparation of food items in the pantry fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen.
- Follows recipes portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the Company.
- Assists with the cleaning sanitation and organization of kitchen walk-in coolers and all storage areas.
- Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.
- Serve food in the proper portion size and at the proper temperature.
- Execute daily weekly and monthly cleaning schedule.
Qualifications:
This role may be a perfect fit for you if:
- For licensed venues candidates must be the required age of majority or older
- You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- You have a minimum of 1 year of cooking experience
- You have a professional diploma or food services management (preferred)
- You have demonstrated knowledge of food and catering trends quality production sanitation food cost controls and presentation
- You have knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food principles of sanitation and principles of safe food handling
- You have superior time management and multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- You can lift up to 50lbs
