- Lead P&L reporting forecasting and insights across the Consumer portfolio
- Partner with leaders to improve cost outcomes and performance visibility
About The Role
In this 12-month contract based in Sydney you will partner with the Consumer Portfolio and Insurance Australia leadership teams to provide high-quality financial advice and insight. You will support P&L reporting budgeting and forecasting and cost management including allocated expenses. You will also contribute to Board and senior scorecard reporting.
What Youll Do
- Partner with Consumer portfolio leaders to provide financial advice and insights that support better decisions and performance outcome
- Deliver accurate and timely Home portfolio management reporting with clear drivers risks and opportunities
- Coordinate inputs across cross-functional finance teams to form a complete Consumer view including revenue claims and broader portfolio impacts
- Support monthly management reporting half-year result preparation senior scorecards and Board reporting packs
- Provide practical insights on expense performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency including impacts from allocation changes
- Drive continuous improvement across the Consumer Finance team contribute to change programs and coach colleagues to lift capability
What Youll Bring
- A degree in Finance Accounting or similar with CA or CPA qualification and the ability to apply accounting standards to real business decisions
- Significant experience as a finance manager in a medium to large financial services organisation with confidence operating at both operational and strategic levels
- Strong stakeholder management capability including building trust with leaders and coordinating inputs across multiple teams and priorities
- Demonstrated capability in P and L reporting forecasting budgeting and analysis translating complex numbers into clear commercial insights
- A strong understanding of the insurance industry and competitor dynamics using external context to strengthen performance discussions
- High attention to detail and sound judgement when working with confidential and sensitive information with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
