St. Ignatius School is accepting applications for the following position effective immediately. St. Ignatius School has two campuses. Our main campus is a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 School. Our satellite campus has grade 7 & 8 and is at the RINK at South Landing where we have a hockey academy.

Full-time Educational Assistant/Extended Day Supervisor

This position consists of working one-on-one with students and with larger groups both in the classroom setting and removed from the classroom setting. This position may include before or after-school supervision depending on which campus you are placed.

The successful candidate will possess:

a dynamic personality with the ability to work well with children in grades K - 8;
the ability to work independently and as a member of a team;
strong interpersonal communication skills;
strong organization and time management skills;
a demonstrated commitment to Catholic faith;
training or experience as an educational assistant;
a demonstrated commitment to professional development;
Early Childhood Educator Certificate preferred.

Candidates with experience working with students with exceptional needs is preferred.
