The school is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor (Level D) in Nursing at either the Gold Coast or Nathan Campus.
Contribute to both teaching and research in the school. You will teach and convene courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programs supervise Honours and Higher Research Degree students and undertake high impact research aligned with the research strengths of the school. Where required this position will also act as program coordinator and/or other leadership roles.
This is a continuing full time based at either the Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith Universitys campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level D range $167008 - $183992 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $195400 - $215271 per annum.
Further to this salary package the School of Nursing and Midwifery are willing to support the right candidate with a range of additional benefits including:
- Relocation Support
- Start-up funds
- Visa Sponsorship (if required)
Qualifications :
- The successful applicant will hold unrestricted registration and license to practice as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (Ahpra).
- You will also possess a PhD in nursing or related area with evidence of a research track record attracting competitive research grant funding and publishing.
- You will demonstrate a strong track record in curriculum development program and course coordination and teaching excellence.
