The PreK Substantially Separate Teacher is responsible for planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for students ages 3 -5 in a substantially separate Pre-K classroom that are identified with developmental delay autism and communication disabilities that affect their learning and to enable them to achieve their maximum :Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with federal and state specialized instruction aligned with state early learning standards and developmentally appropriate explicit instruction using evidence-based instructional strategies in early literacy math readiness social-emotional development adaptive skills and play instruction to meet a wide range of cognitive communication and behavioral play-based learning opportunities to promote skill ongoing progress monitoring and data collection aligned to IEP progress reports and documentation in compliance with district and state individualized behavior support plans and proactive classroom management paraprofessionals in delivering instruction and implementing student with related service providers (SLP OT PT BCBA).Communicate effectively with in IEP meetings team meetings and professional development activities.
