Job Summary

Job Description

We are recruiting a CFO on behalf of a well-established logistics business. Our client has a strong national footprint multiple warehouses and transport hubs an established fleet and a growing international component.

This position requires a hands-on yet strategic financial leader who is comfortable operating within a dynamic owner-led environment. The successful candidate will oversee the full financial function across multiple regions and work closely with operational leadership to drive performance structure and financial sustainability.

This is best suited to a high-calibre professional who enjoys being embedded in the business not just operating from a purely corporate or head-office perspective.

What youll be doing:

Oversee and manage company structures and the full financial function
Lead reporting budgeting forecasting and audit processes
Provide strategic financial insight to improve operational efficiencies and support business growth
Manage working capital and cash flow across multiple warehouses and transport hubs
Strengthen financial controls and governance frameworks
Liaise with tax advisors and internal departments
Contribute to commercial and operational decision-making

What youll need:

CA(SA) registered
MBA or Masters in Tax advantageous
Minimum 7 years post-article experience
Industry exposure within logistics supply chain manufacturing or agriculture preferred
Strong analytical and systems capability
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Fluent proficiency in Afrikaans (essential)
Willing to travel within South Africa if needed
